In this comedy drama is based on the true story, a group of teenager students stand up for their rights against the Principal Weller (Julie Bowien), who is an ambitious but hard-headed leader of Booker High school. She is going to run for the superintendent's chair, so she needs to project the image of a no-nonsense leader. She begins to turn the screws on: prohibits a girl to recognize National Safe Sex Day distributing condoms, and turns out two boys who are caught kissing in the hallway between classes. Students have an ally teacher helping them to struggle despotism, who soon gets fired for questioning Weller's authority. Together the students organize the student body to take on Weller and make real change at their high-school. |

Melvin Smiley (Mark Wahlberg) leads a double life working as a hitman for his crime boss Paris (Avery Brooks) and maintaining two relationships, one with his unsuspecting Jewish fiancee Pam Shulman (Christina Applegate), and another with a gold-digging, hypocritical mistress Chantel (Lela Rochon). Unbeknownst to their boss, Mel and his teammates, Cisco (Lou Diamond Phillips), Crunch (Bokeem Woodbine), Vince (Antonio Sabato Jr.), and Gump (Robin Dunne), decide to take an independent job for extra money and kidnap Keiko Nishi (China Chow), the daughter of a Japanese tycoon. In an ironic twist of fate, Jiro Nishi (Sab Shimono), whose business has recently gone burst, can’t pay a ransom of $1,000,000 for the release of his teenage daughter. Furthermore, Keiko proves to be the godkid of their powerful boss Paris, who orders his huge cohort to discover and send the captors to kingdom come. On top of it all, Mel falls for his kidnaping victim.

British inventor Phileas Fogg (Steve Coogan), a daring man of science, stated his belief that it's possible for him to travel around the globe in a mere 80 days, as he asserted in a lively discussion with Lord Kelvin (Jim Broadbent), the head of the Royal Academy of Science. During their adventurous trip the pair has various points to stop at, situated in France (Paris, of course!), Turkey, India, China and the United States. Femme fatale Monique and a suspecting detective are also involved in the story. Soon after the pair left London, a major bank was robbed and Phileas and Passportout are considered as the main suspects trying to escape. |
